IBM: Lead for Academe Recruitment and Events Management

Responsibilities: 

       Academe Activities
·         Enhance campus relationships and implement an EOI (Expression of Interest) program to generate a pool of qualified candidates
·         Organize campus recruitment activities with targeted schools to generate EOIs
·         Liaison person for academe-related projects
·         Responsible for the management and recruitment production of the Academe channel.
·         Partnering with Frontline and S&L Recruitment Managers to create and implement activities, programs or procedures to meet operational targets and goals.
·         Responsible for event planning, program development, vendor contracts negotiation, speaker management, logistics, message coordination, staffing coordination, AV coordination and all other aspects of event production.
·         Receive and evaluate proposals from academe partners (sponsorships, job fairs, company talks, etc.)
·         Manage event activities vs. budget

·   Evaluate event proposals and give recommendations to management
·   Coordinate with internal departments for vendor accreditation, permits, payment processing of recruitment events
·   Monitor actual cost and hiring statistics of all recruitment events and maintain accurate data recording
·   Prepare all materials and permits necessary to  conduct a successful recruitment event
·   Supervise encoding of applications received from events, whenever necessary
·   Hand over resumes to the recruitment team for processing
·   Regularly update RMC Event Calendar and Statistics for timely and accurate reports
·   Coordinate with recruiters and volunteers for all manpower requirements for events
·   Attend event orientations to represent the company
·   Create project proposals to conduct company-organized events
·   Solicit and evaluate event proposals from vendors and event organizers, including campus and mall events
·   Maintain files of all graduate lists from academe activities attended
·   Maintain the database of students with assessment results
·   Maintain the EOI files and database for recruitment’s use
Maintain OJT database

·         Handles management of all event merchandise, including but not limited to the booth, brochures, giveaways, posters, banners, etc.
·         Ensures ample supply of merchandise for all recruitment events and activities
·         Requests Marketing to create or order supply once stock is low
Ensures that all merchandise are maximized
 


Requirements: 
    • Candidate must possess at a Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
    • Preferably 1 year experience in events management.
    • Ability to process a high volume of detailed work in a short time.
    • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Amenable to work longer hours and/or doing field work.
    • Proficient planning, time management and decision making skills.
    • Highly motivated, organized, self-reliant, resourceful and adaptable.
