Accountant/Assistant


We are looking for an Real Estate Administrative Assistant with at least 2 years experience (Marketing/Sales background a HUGE plus! And knowledge in accounting) Can also do office work, coordinate permits and licensing. . Must be articulate when talking with potential tenants and guests, have great negotiating skills and ability to write up Real Estate Contracts. Candidate should be a “self starter” and “results driven”

• Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment with deadlines and challenges
• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word and Outlook.

The Accounting Clerk / Bookkeeper will be in charged of the manual posting of receipts (expenses-AP) and invoices (AR) to customers.

He/She will ensure the upkeep and timely maintenance of the General Ledger posting on a daily basis.

He/She will be involved in the collections call to customer to remind them of payments based on due aging reports (30,60-day AR aging).



Responsibilities include:

· Post AR/AP transactions daily into online systems

· Resolve issues directly with suppliers (AP) and customers for payments (AR)

· Report progress and escalate outstanding issues with Accounting Manager

· Promote teamwork environment with rest of AR/AP staff



Qualifications

· Accounting graduate with at least 2years experience in bookkeeping

· Experience and working knowledge of accounting software – Quickbooks, PeachTree, AccPac, MS Dynamics, SAP, etc.

· Excellent communications skills – both oral and written

· Experience in collections call to client for payment dues

The Manager, Finance & Accounting is responsible for AR/AP processing.

He/She will lead a team of transaction processing staff who manually post and track AR/AP.

He/She will be involved in the day-to-day management and quality processes involved in maintaining the General Ledger.



Responsibilities include:

· serve as liaison and single-point-of contact to BPO clients

· manage day-to-day operations of accounting department

· track and monitor posting of receipts, invoices, and resolve outstanding issues

· supervise and motivate staff

· work on night shift – following US/Canada timezone



Qualifications:

· Accounting graduate with at least 3-4 years experience in accounting and finance function

· Experience in using accounting software – Quickbooks, PeachTree, AccPac, MS Dynamics, SAP, etc.

· Staff supervision experience along with proven motivational skills

· Excellent communications skills – both oral and written

· CPA certified preferred

· Solid understanding of GAAP
